Ingredients
1 can (28-oz.) Allens® Cut Italian Green Beans, not drained
1 pkg. (14 oz.) smoked sausage, sliced or 1 lb. sweet Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (14.5-oz.) Diced Tomatoes, not drained
1 cup long grain white rice
3/4 cup water
1 tsp. dried oregano
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Hot sauce, optional
Directions
Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat; drain. Add garlic and cook 15 seconds, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with hot sauce, if desired.
